For example, if you are in a meeting at work and everyone likes a certain idea but you disagree, voice your opinion. If you see something on social media you disagree with then get your point of view across. If a friend tells you something they have done which you think is wrong let them know. On the other hand if you do agree with what somebody is saying then let them know you are thinking the same thing. Too often we keep quiet to make our lives easier, avoid conflict, or to seek social approval. If you never voice your own opinion based on your own thoughts then you will be silencing yourself.
