This workout involves comparing yourself with the you of a year ago. To do this you need to answer the following three questions. How have you developed as a person during the last 12 months? What have you got now that you didn’t have a year ago? What goals have you completed during this time? Comparing your current self to your past self is a good way to recognise the progress being made in your life and it will also provide yourself with added motivation to keep developing. A mistake people tend to make is to compare themselves with others. Doing this can often lead to negative thoughts and feelings. It is important to remember that every minute you spend focussing on someone else’s life is one spent wasting yours.
